I am NOT a very graceful loser. I hate losing.
This should be a post about Haiti Outreach and why I support them and their commitment to to community-managed water, sanitation, and hygiene development in Haiti.
It should be about their community well project.
At the very least, it should be about me jumping into a frozen Minnesota lake in the middle of January.
But it’s not. This post is about me WINNING. Which is a terribly selfish, self-centered way to use my blog, but guess what? It’s my blog, and I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what I want to use it for 
I’m part of the Disco Dunkers team for Freeze Dunk ‘13. That means I am, indeed, jumping into a frozen Minnesota lake in the middle of January in the name of charity. And it means I want to raise more money than anyone else on the team.
That’s where you guys come in. There are two ways you can help support me:
- Donate to my fundraising efforts. It’s totally a tax write-off and benefits a great cause. Plus, it’ll be worth it to see the video and photos of me freaking out when I hit that icy water.
- Help spread the word about the fundraiser and my attempt to kick everyone else’s ass.
Don’t worry, I didn’t forget about you guys. If I get to be selfish and want to win, you get something, too. Thats great that you use not being able to lose well for good! I could never ever jump in a frozen lake so Im glad youre doing it for such a good reason

OMG!! I can’t even think about jumping into freezing water in the middle of winter!! I’ve never been to Minnesota in January, but I’m from Nebraska originally, so I think I’m pretty sure I know how cold it will be. You get a bravery vote from me.
